Our interior design and build teams are privileged to be able to contribute to the growth and success of Medika Health Clinic. A benchmark medical facility covering over 680m2, based in Westminster WA, the company and its people provide a holistic and modern approach to health care using plant-based medicine. Together with the team at Medika, we developed a space that oozes innovation. From point of entry in the expansive foyer through to a breath-taking reception zone, the design team have utilised the space thoughtfully. Custom joinery in natural tones in the reception zone is complimented by the curved ceiling that follows the lines of the reception counter in symmetry, with lighting working together both above and below to highlight the space and its features. The patient waiting area has been designed with the natural light in mind. It filters through the area, providing a light, warm and welcoming space. The L-shaped expansive passage provides the route for an impressive 10 consult rooms plus a nurse’s station and administration, compound, dispensary, pathology and lastly staff and patient amenities. An additional waiting area is within the consult area of the clinic. With the company logo and branding pre-existing, the design team incorporated the natural colours into the design concepts, ensuring there was consistency, and the brand was felt amongst the clinical space. This benchmark project included interior design, demolition within existing building, build and deliver; we thank our valuable clients for entrusting us with this project.
